Where are you based out of?

I mainly reside out of Vancouver, W.A. and travel often back to Los Angeles, C.A.  So if you are having your wedding in or around the Los Angeles area I do not charge flight or board expenses!

What is your photography background?

I graduated from the California State University of Long Beach in art, from there I went on to assits fashion, celebrity and wedding photographers throughout Los Angeles, C.A.  As well as creating my own work which has been published in magazines, blogs and various outlets.

What's your style?

I have a soft spot for conceptual style photographs but also "shoot" for simple and clean, stylized  portraits. Along with, non-obtrusively, capturing those candid moments.

Besides weddings what other photo work do you do?

I love to shoot Boudoir, as well as fashion and commercial style work (nunez-photography.com).

Can you Travel?

Yes please! I just cannot turn down a fun adventure, I am willing to travel where I am needed to document your special day.

How does pricing work?

My Wedding Collections start at $1100 and my engagement at $350. Each package can vary based on the amount of coverage needed, pre-wedding photo sessions or add on's and wedding day details.

Boudoir portrait sessions start at $350.

What is your most popular Collection?

Collection 2 is the most common, but I find Collection 3 my favorite. Having more time can help create a relaxed shooting environment allowing for more detailed moments, useful in longer wedding ceremonies or sometimes needed for larger weddings.

How necessary is engagements photos?

They are not necessary but I do highly recommended it. It is great opportunity for us to get to know each other more, to see how you interact as a couple, and give you an idea of how I work.  As well as getting a little more confortable in front of the camera before your wedding day.

How much time for pre-ceremony portraits is needed?

I normally prefer that wedding parties prepare to be photo ready around 2 hours before the begging of the ceremony.  This way we can make sure we have time to capture natural and non rushed photos, as well giving time to freshen up before the ceremony.  If you do not want want to do pre-ceremony couple portraits, two hours before your reception would be preferred.

A second photographer?

Packages do not include a second photographer, depending on sizing and details of the day will depend on the necessities of adding a second shooter.  Normally in larger weddings a 2nd shooter may be required to get all desired shots, others just like to have a second view of there day.  The cost of a 2nd photographer can vary depending on package.

What do you shoot with?

I was originally trained with film but all of my wedding work and portraits are done digitally. Standardly I shoot weddings and portraits with a Cannon 5D and a back up Cannon, with an array of lens's to choose from.  As well as any tripods and lighting if necessary, I do prefer to take advantage of the natural sunlight when possible.

Can we give you a list of shots we must have?

Yes you can, but I do find it easier to also have a member of your party be in control of a list of family member shot list.  I also like to have a tentative schedule to ensure enough photo time is given for proper portraits.

What is your turn around time?

Generally the timing  to receive your edited digital prints is 6-8 weeks for weddings and portraits in 2-6 weeks.

How will we get our photos? Do your offer prints?

Photographs will be mailed to you in a cute package containing a USB drive filled with your edited photographs.  Each photograph will have a large version for print set at 5x7 with a 300 dpi, and a smaller web version for easy sharing.  I do not offer prints myself but these are printer ready, although I cannot guarantee the actual print, I highly recommend getting them professionally printed. I do not give RAW or un-edited versions of prints. I know many people do like to have these but I see the final product as the representation of my work and I prefer to only give out my best work as to keep my artistic integrity. I will edit all the best photographs and only outtakes will be left out.

Print release and copyright?

I do include a release which allows you to print, post, tweet and anything else of a personal manner.  I do keep the copyrights to all photographs.

Whats the next step to book?

Send me a message through any of my outlets and I will get back to you as soon as possible.  We can set up a time to meet and go through your wedding specifics or we can chat over the phone. I like to get a feel of who you are as a couple and what imagery your are wanting to capture. I am honord that my work has spoken to you and look forward to telling your story.  If you decide to book with me I do require 1/2 down for a deposit and a signed contract.  I can send you an estimate to look over and an invoice if your ready to go.  If easier I can also accept check or money order through the mail. After that the rest of the package total is due one week before your wedding date,  or if needed we can set up a payment plan.  All other sessions the rest of the payment is due 1 week before the session day.
